On April 22, the women’s rowing team swept all four races against the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. That day, the team also celebrated Senior Day in honor of the Class of 2023.

Women’s swim and dive competed in the four-day Ivy League Championship at Princeton University in the DeNunzio Pool starting on Feb. 15.

On Friday, Feb. 10, women’s hockey fell to St. Lawrence University 7-3 in Thompson Arena. With a quick turnaround, the Big Green also faced off against Clarkson University on Saturday and lost its final Eastern College Athletic Conference home game 4-0.
Men’s hockey fell to Princeton University 7-3 this past Friday and to No. 2 Quinnipiac University 4-2 the following evening.

This past weekend, the men’s hockey team bested Brown University 4-3 and Yale University 4-0 for its first road wins of the season.
The women’s ice hockey team fell to Harvard University in overtime on Friday evening at Thompson Arena. The team lost the tough battle 3-2.

In November, women’s rugby captured the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association 15s championship for the second year in a row. The win — rugby’s third in four appearances in the title game — also clinched a second consecutive undefeated 15s season for the team.

After nearly three years of COVID-19 restrictions, fall sports teams have returned back to normal with pre-COVID-19 traditions reinstated. Among other teams, women’s and men’s cross country, volleyball and rugby all had successful fall seasons this year.
Even as Steve Ward, longtime senior assistant equipment manager for Dartmouth football, battled cancer, he never missed a practice that he was physically able to attend.
