A guide to the 2020 Student Assembly election

On Saturday, this year’s candidates for Student Assembly president and vice president went head to head in a live zoom debate to vie for students’ votes. Olivia Audsley ’21 and Cait McGovern ’21 are running for SA president, with María Teresa Hidalgo ’22 and Jonathan Briffault ’21 running for vice president as Audsley and McGovern’s running mates, respectively.

Professors try new techniques to engage students online

To alleviate some of the challenges of remote learning, many professors have adapted their courses in an effort to keep their students engaged. In the process, some have found the online format an opportunity to implement new ideas — from extra TA support to class themes to visiting experts helping students with final projects.

Ed Winchester remembered for leadership and warmth

A gifted storyteller, Olympic rower and leader, Ed Winchester was known for his endless optimism and good humor. Winchester, who served as executive director of marketing and communications at the Tuck School of Business, died from natural causes on April 22. He was 49.
