Beta Alpha Omega fraternity will return this fall

In an email to campus undergraduates, the Dartmouth Student Government and the Student and Presidential Committee on Sexual Assault wrote that to “celebrate” BVAC namesake Leon Black ’73 “betrays our values and our students.”
The law, signed on April 3 by Gov. Kelly Ayotte, will go into effect in June. It requires voters to present a government-issued ID at the polls.
Applications rose by 2% this year, making it the second-largest applicant pool in the College’s history.
The fund, which is currently going through the legal process of establishment, will give The Dartmouth more reliable and increased revenue for operations.
