Downtown Hanover sees business relocations

Multiple retail shops and restaurants in the town of Hanover will be changing locations in the coming year. Skinny Pancake, Hanover Haircutters and Verizon will be relocating, and FatFace, a British clothing company, will be opening on Main Street. 


The Bar One event debuted last Thursday in One Wheelock.

Bar One debuts as 'equivalent social space'

Last Thursday evening, Bar One made its debut — with nearly 140 students in attendance. Organized by the Palaeopitus senior society and funded by the Office of the President, Bar One attempts to supplement other campus offerings such as Collis After Dark, which provide students with alternative social spaces.

Dartmouth celebrates Veterans Day amid changes in support mechanisms

Last week, Dartmouth hosted a number of events in recognition of Veterans Day, including a birthday ball for the United States Marine Corps, a remembrance breakfast, a panel on the history of Dartmouth’s veterans, a formal Drill and Retreat ceremony and a presentation by Association of the U.S. Army CEO General Carter Ham. These celebrations come after changes to Dartmouth’s recruitment and support of veterans — namely, the discontinuation of the College’s partnership with the Posse Foundation.
