Green Key Exposed!
We often confuse the meaning of Green Key weekend; after all, it's pretty easy to get confused if you're carrying around a water bottle full of vodka for 72 consecutive hours.

INTO THE WOODS -- ADDING TO DARTMOUTH TRADITION. I figure since this is my last article for a while before sophomore summer, I'd end the term off with a bang.
When I look in the future, I don't see signals that the balance [between teaching and research] will be maintained.
To the Editor: I am a student at Cornell, and I am deeply saddened and outraged by the witch hunt which has happened at Dartmouth College.
To the Editor: I find Abbye Meyer's assertions (The Dartmouth, May 14th, "A Question Of Nondiscrimination") that single sex organizations are somehow a clear violation of Dartmouth's non-discriminatory standards puzzling.
To the Editor: In the article of May 15th, "Sigma Nu surprises Greeks," regarding Sigma Nu fraternity's decision to secede from the Coed Sorority Fraternity Council, most of the other Greek leaders miss the point of the secession.
I had the privilege of being interviewed by someone from "Good Morning, America" this weekend, and although they apparently cancelled their Dartmouth segment from Monday's show, I'm glad I got the opportunity to think about how to answer questions about the Greek system to the outside world.
To the Editor: So I read Hemant Joshi's editorial "A Day In The Life" on Monday, May 14th, and I think I understand the gist of it.
To the Editor: I am appalled at the faculty's continuing attempts to appear as if there is not even a single member in support of the Greek system.
To the Editor: Let us for a moment consider the heartfelt words included in Zeta Psi's response to the College's decision to derecognize the fraternity: "Psi Epsilon of Zeta Psi is a fine organization made up of excellent young men, many of whom will undoubtedly go on to be leaders in the legal, scientific and business communities.
The decision to permanently derecognize the Zeta Psi fraternity was disproportionate to the administration's punishment of acts committed by other Greek and non-Greek organizations.
To the Editor: It is a shame that both President of the College James Wright and Dean of Residential Life Martin Redman found it necessary to blame Zeta Psi for their own shortcomings.
To the Editor: Abbye Meyer's letter, "A Question Of Nondiscrimination" in the May 14th issue of The Dartmouth demands to know why the Greek system at Dartmouth is a "single-sex system in spite of our nondiscrimination policy." First, it is not exclusively a single-sex system.
Like most people, I'm sure I've spent many a day feeling like the world's biggest idiot. Consistently falling down, saying dumb things and embarrassing myself, I'd actually say I'm one of the world's biggest idiots.
To the Editor: I would like thank the Dartmouth community very much for the strong support of the Dartmouth Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive.
Woke up, fell out of bed, pulled a gun (a Smith and Wesson) out from under my head. Then I shot to hell the thang that was making noise.
To the Editor: We congratulate Molly Stuzman and Michael Newton on their victories, and hope that the spirit of change is part of their administration.
To the Editor: Dartmouth College's mission statement speaks of an institution committed to creating a social and academic environment that fosters diversity.
I am amazed that The Dartmouth would publish such an overly-simplistic article as the Op-Ed from May 7th by John Haskell, titled "In Support of Beer;" however, perhaps it is best to get these absurd opinions on the table of public discussion rather than simply to let them fester like skunky cheap beer.
To the Editor: I continue to be amazed at how some folks, including Ryan Meuse ("Bemused At Stanford," The Dartmouth, May 9th,) continue to level the "political correctness" charge at those who fight back against racism, sexism and homophobia.
