The University of Texas baseball team defeated Boston College 3-2 in the longest game in NCAA history on Saturday night and into early Sunday morning, according to the Associated Press.

The Big Green baseball team fell to North Carolina 5-2 on Friday before being shutout 16-0 by Kansas on Saturday, to end Dartmouth's tournament run.

Courtesy of DartmouthSports.com The Dartmouth women's sailing team struggled on the third and final day of racing at ICSA Women's Nationals, falling to an eighth-place finish in the competition with 211 points. The team was in fourth place after the second day of racing, but disappointing results in later races left the squad just behind seventh-place Georgeton University, which finished with 208 points. The competition was ranked in reverse order of total points scored. Dartmouth finished 63 points ahead of ninth-place finisher Yale at the competition, which took place at the St.

It's safe to say that baseball season is officially in full swing we can now watch those early afternoon games and see our favorite players produce at the highest level, just about whenever we want (partly because there's nothing else on). But come July, we have something even better to which we can look forward: The Midsummer Classic. The MLB All-Star Game is basically an exhibition game between players from the National and American Leagues, who are selected by fans, coaches, and managers.

The Dartmouth Endurance Racing Team placed 36th out of 1250 teams at the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon.

Racers, musicians run in Vermont

Courtesy of the Dartmouth Endurance Racing Team A Chinese drumming troupe that cheered on runners wasn't the only group of musicians that showed up for the 21st Annual KeyBank Vermont City Marathon in Burlington, Vt., on Sunday. Several members of the Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra and the group's director competed alongside members of the Dartmouth Endurance Racing Team in the event. The Endurance Racing Team sent two separate squads to Burlington to compete in the marathon, running it as a five-leg relay.

The women's Ultimate Frisbee team which calls itself Princess Layout finished in 13th place at nationals.

Women's Ultimate takes 13th place

Courtesy of Thomas Nash Princess Layout was unable to eke out a fairy-tale ending this weekend at the Ultimate Players Association College Women's Championships in in Columbus, Ohio. The Dartmouth women's Ultimate Frisbee team finished the four-day competition in 13th place after going point-for-point with some of the top teams in the nation. "Our team knew we could run with any other team in this tournament going in, regardless of seed," co-captain Molly Roy '09 said.

Big Green women's hockey goalie Carli Clemis '09 was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District first team on Thursday.

Baseball Nick Santomauro '10 was named Ivy Player of the Year, while Joe Sclafani '12 won Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors for the Ivy champion Big Green baseball team.
