Men's and women's rugby back in action after spring trips

Jennifer Argote / The Dartmouth Senior Staff Jennifer Argote / The Dartmouth Senior Staff After returning from its spring break trip to Arkansas and Texas, the Dartmouth men's rugby team opened its Spring season with a 38-5 victory over the University of Vermont on Sunday. "This is our first game with just our underclassmen, and we're preparing for our season in the Fall to qualify for Nationals," captain Tommy Brothers '11 said.

Baseball splits pair of Ivy League doubleheaders

Geoff Holman / The Dartmouth Staff Geoff Holman / The Dartmouth Staff The Dartmouth baseball team opened Ivy League play by splitting a pair of doubleheaders on the road this weekend, taking on Cornell University on Saturday and Princeton University on Sunday. With the win against Princeton on Sunday, manager Bob Whalen surpassed Jeff Tesreau as Dartmouth's all-time winningest manager.

Women's lax extends streak to seven

"Brown is always a tough team for us to play," co-captain Eliza Bennett '10 said.

Squash star Valeria Wiens '13 recieves All-American honors

For the first time in 14 years, a Dartmouth freshman has received All-American honors, as the Women's College Squash Association named Valeria Wiens '13 to the first team. Wiens, a Russian 23-year-old, is the first Dartmouth squash player to earn the lofty first team recognition since 2005.
