Two stereos and a cordless telephone were stolen from Russell Sage residence hall Friday sometime between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Brad Evans '98 woke up Friday to find his stereo missing, according to John Coleman '98, his roommate. Coleman said Evans called the Hanover Police Department later that day, but no suspects have been named.
Coleman said he and his two roommates were asleep in the adjacent room when the stereo was taken from the common area.
He said their third-floor room was unlocked at the time. None of the three students remember any noise or disruption during the night, Coleman said.
Coleman said the stereo was valued at close to $400.
The other stereo and the telephone were stolen from the fourth-floor room of Andy Wong '98 and David Berkowitz '98.
Wong said the room was unlocked at the time of the theft.
A cordless phone was also stolen from Berkowitz, Wong said.He said police took fingerprints from the area around the phone to identify suspects.
Wong said a roll of quarters and a compact disc were also stolen, in addition to the $270 stereo.
Hanover Police officials could not be reached for comment.
