Kelly to serve as officer

Marcia Kelly replaces Maureen Ragan as Undergraduate Judicial Affairs Officer today. Ragan had held the position on an acting basis since September 1993.

The Undergraduate Judicial Affairs Officer coordinates investigations of Student Code of Conduct violations and educates students about the College's judicial process.

Kelly will also handle the daily activities of the Committee on Standards, the College's body for enforcing rules. But she does not decide any cases presented to COS.

Kelly comes to the College after serving as the Director of the Mayer Campus Center and Student Activities Office at Tufts University.

At Tufts, Kelly served on judicial panels and on a committee that heard judicial appeals.

Kelly received her B.A. from SUNY College at Purchase in 1977 and her M.A. degree in Higher Education Administration from Boston College in 1981.

Ragan said she will return to George Washington University in Washington, D.C., to pursue her master's degree in Women's Studies.
