Boston's 'Boy Wonder' Theo Epstein plugs internships

MasterCard's ubiquitous "Priceless" marketing campaign promises that "for everything else there's MasterCard." Thanks to the credit card company's "Priceless Experience" initiative, which offers internships in film, music or sports, MasterCard's advertisments might not be an understatement. Over the past few months, MasterCard has been advertising their "Priceless Experience" internship program, which offers an opportunity for 12 lucky contestants to pursue summer internships in the music, film and sports industries.

Elite Eight makes history with three overtime games

Simply put, it was the greatest collection of Elite Eight games in the history of the NCAA Tournament. On Saturday, Louisville overcame a 20-point first half deficit to defeat West Virginia in overtime, in a game where the teams launched an astounding 55 three-pointers, making an even more astounding 55 percent of their field goals all while combining for a mere 25 turnovers. Hours later, top-seeded Illinois rallied from 15 points down in the last four minutes to defeat a poised Arizona team, also in overtime.

Third time not a charm: Green ends record-tying season

For the third straight year, the women's hockey team made it to the Frozen Four championships, but for the third straight year, the Big Green came up short in the semi-final game. Despite this year's expanded tournament field of eight teams, the Frozen Four pairings were identical to those of a season ago.

Women's basketball shoots for NCAA win

WEB UPDATE, March 18, 9:51 p.m. The Dartmouth women's basketball team will look to break new ground on Sunday in its fifth NCAA tournament effort under head coach Chris Wielgus. Advancing to the second round will not be easy, though -- the Big Green drew a first round match-up against the defending national champions.

With some clutch performances, Dartmouth women's hockey team swept Colgate in the opening round of the ECAC playoffs and moves on to the semifinals of the tournament. On Friday night, it was Tiffany Hagge '06 who provided the scoring.

Ultimate Frisbee leaves its mark on the Golden State

Last weekend, the men's ultimate Frisbee team traveled with the women's squad to San Diego, Cal., to compete with some of the best college teams in the country. The tournament featured 30 teams organized into six pools, meaning that the first tournament day would include four games for each team, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

With second place in the Ivy League on the line and in the midst of an impressive five game winning streak, the Dartmouth men's basketball team (10-17, 7-7) knew that its turnaround basketball season was going to culminate in this last road trip of the season.
