On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl LX, which took place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

Dartmouth students watched the game from a variety of locations, ranging from dorms to campus event spaces.

Samantha Grayer ’29, who watched the game from a friend’s dorm room, said that while the game “could have been a little more exciting,” she enjoyed the “break from studying.”

“I thought it’d be a good way to spend time with people,” Grayer said.”

Grayer rooted for the Seahawks because, as a Philadelphia Eagles fan, she said her support is for “anyone but the Pats.”

Debra Hill ’29, who said she also rooted for the Seahawks because her father supports them, watched the game with friends at the Shabazz Center for Intellectual Inquiry.

“I just wanted to be part of a community that was watching,” Hill said.

Shriya Kannan ’28 watched the game at Collis Student Center with some friends. She said she was supporting the Patriots because she grew up in New England.

However, Kannan added the game was “not that exciting.”

“It’s just been a lot of back and forth,” she said.

Kannan said she “loved” the halftime show, headlined by Puerto Rican musician Bad Bunny. The performance included a medley of his hits and surprise musical guests Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga.

“I thought the production was really cool,” Kannan said. “The songs were great.”

Grayer also praised the halftime performance.

“I thought it was super fun to watch,” she said. “I like Lady Gaga. I didn’t expect her to be there.”
