Andrew Davidson will begin as the College's vice president for development in December, where he will oversee various fundraising initiatives, including the Dartmouth College Fund.
Davidson will join senior vice president for advancement Bob Lasher, newly appointed vice president for presidential initiatives and principal gifts Michael Kiefer, chief operating officer for advancement Ann Root Keith and vice president for alumni relations Martha Beattie on the advancement division's senior leadership team.
Lasher announced Davidson's appointment in an emailto Dartmouth College Fund and Friends of Athletics volunteersyesterday.
Kiefer joined the College in early September from Haverford College. College President Phil Hanlon appointed Lasher in July 2013.
Davidson currently serves as assistant dean of development at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
