You won't forget the address of this restaurant! The interior is a unique mixture of a medieval theme and traditional Dartmouth memorabilia. They serve a variety of dishes including Mexican style appetizers. Dinners cost about $10 and casual dress is appropriate. 643-5081
Cafe Buon Gustaio
Located at 72 South Main Street, Cafe Buon Gustaio serves wonderful Italian dishes, not to mention a variety of pastas, salads, seafood and an extensive wine list. Dress is neat but not formal. Reservations are recommended. 643-5711
C&As House of Pizza
C&A's, located at 17 Lebanon Street, is an extremely affordable pizzeria. A small pizza could cost as little as $4.50 and a large will only set you back $7.25. Free delivery within Hanover is an added incentive. They also serve a wide variety of hot grinders. 643-2966
The Daniel Webster Room
This sophisticated and elegant restaurant in the Hanover Inn is only restaurant in New Hampshire to receive the Four Diamond Award. Students can charge meals to the student ID. Entrees cost up to $24 and formal dress is appropriate. Reservations are encouraged for weekend and evening dining. 643-4300
The Dirt Cowboy Cafe
The Dirt Cowboy is the quintessential college town coffee house. With it's wide array of freshly baked pastries and plethora of flavored coffee, students pack the cafe at night, particularly on the weekends.
Everything But Anchovies
Loved by students for its affordable fare, comfortable atmosphere and friendly delivery persons, EBA's is a Dartmouth favorite. Casual dress is fine for this establishment located at 5 Allen Street. 643-6135
Foodee's
Patrons of Foodee's can choose from more than 40 different topping for their pizzas, not to mention more than a dozen specialty international pizzas. Prices for the pizzas range from $ 4 for a small to $17 for a large. Located on Rte. 10 in Hanover. 643-8852
The Ivy Grill
Located in the Hanover Inn, The Ivy Grill is a favorite in formal dining with Dartmouth students who can charge meals to their College IDs. They have a menu consisting of seafood, steak and daily pasta specials. Formal dress is appropriate. Entrees cost between $7 and $16. 643-4300
Jesse's
Jesse's is a favorite among parents and specializes in steak and seafood dishes along with an extensive salad bar. Reservations are recommended. Dinners are priced at about $15 and dress is neat but not formal. Located on Rte. 120. 643-4111
Lou's
Lou's is a perennial breakfast spot and weekend favorite with students and Hanover residents alike. Located at 30 S. Main Street, they serve a wide variety of burgers, sandwiches and Mexican specialties. Lou's also packs a crowd for their homemade muffins, pies and pastries. Mei Mei's
Mei Mei's is a Chinese food take-out establishment located at 68 South Main Street. They feature a wide array of meat, noodle and poultry dishes. A $5 minimum is required for free delivery. Prices for main dishes range from $4.50 for Pork Fried Rice to Shrimp Schezuan Style at $7.95. 643-6868
Murphy's Tavern
Located on 11 South Main Street, Murphy's Tavern offers a lunch menu which includes a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and burgers, not to mention a vast array of appetizers. Panda House, located on Lebanon Street, is well known for their excellent Chinese cuisine (and scorpion bowls). Appetizers run from $1.50 to $6.95 while main dishes can cost anywhere from $6.25 to $14.95. Panda House also features free delivery in Hanover for orders of at least ten dollars.
