The College's Board of Trustees held its Spring term meeting last weekend at Yale University, but declined to release details about the meeting.
College President James Freedman told The Dartmouth last week that it was "likely" the Board would announce who will replace E. John Rosenwald as chair after the meeting.
Yesterday, Freedman said he is still not able to comment about the replacement.
The Trustees met with officials while at Yale to discuss ways the schools deal with common problems.
Freedman said the Board met with Yale Professor Sydney Altman, Yale's provost, dean of admissions, president and a Yale trustee.
"We talked with all of these people about a whole range of issues, such as financial aid, federal support for education and how both ours and Yale's Board of Trustees operates," he said.
Freedman added that the Trustees toured Yale's facilities, including the main library and a rare book library.
"It was a very instructive experience," he said.
