Students are selected for COS and Green Key

While candidates in the Student Assembly elections will be forced to wait another week for the results of their campaigns, candidates in the class council, Green Key Honor Society and Committee on Standards elections were all able to find out the results of their races last night.

All the incumbent class council presidents and vice presidents were re-elected by their classes.

Frode Eilertsen '99 and Rex Morey '99 were re-elected to serve as class president and vice president respectively. Eilertsen received 372 votes, while Morey received 380.

Sophomore class President Randi Barnes Vice President Chris Atwood were also re-elected. Barnes received 197 votes and Atwood received 180. Pamela Saunders '97 and Matt Shafer '97 were re-elected class president and vice president respectively. Saunders received 343 votes and Shafer received 345.

Phil Lord '97, Rob Rogers '97 and Will Taylor '97 were elected from a list of 30 candidates to serve on COS.

Only 19 candidates ran for the 20 available positions on Green Key.

Sophomores elected to Green Key for next year are Joan Ai, Chris Atwood, Raili Cook, Nancy Fopiano, Rachel Gilliar, Mona Gupta, Ben Hill, Jim Horowitz, Marisa Howe, Blair Kenney, Michelle Kraemer, Karen Lefrak, Jennifer Peters, Arvidas Remeza, Abbie Roberts, Veena Shankaran, Wendy Simon, Bradley Ursillo and Stanley Weinberger.
