A planned showing of the famous "Hell Night" video last night was called off because English Professor Tom Luxon thought the event was planned for tonight.
Eran BenDavid '97, an Undergraduate Advisor in Topliff residence hall who planned and organized the event, said there is "nothing big in the whole fiasco beyond a misunderstanding."
BenDavid said he set the event for last night, but Luxon thought the event was tonight.
BenDavid said the event will take place tonight at 7:30 in the lounge in Topliff.
The presentation includes a showing of a video tape made in 1987 of Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity's "Hell Night" that includes graphic footage of excessive drinking and coerced vomiting.
