For the second straight year, winter fraternity and coed fraternity rush proved a popular alternative to the fall rush period.
Although the majority of students rush a fraternity, sorority or coed fraternity in the fall, some choose to rush or sink their bids in the winter.
Winter rush tends to be smaller than that held in the fall, Chi Gamma Epsilon fraternity President Lee Grinberg '96 said.

The sororities did not have a rush period this winter but Delta Gamma sorority gave out five open bids, four of which have been sunk thus far, DG President Abbey Henderson '96 said.
Delta Delta Delta sorority, Epsilon Kappa Theta sorority, Kappa Delta Epsilon sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Sigma Delta sorority did not extend any bids this term.
Bones Gate fraternity, Gamma Delta Chi fraternity and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity declined to release their rush numbers.
Members of Alpha Chi Alpha fraternity could not be reached for comment.
