Cammy Myler '92 carried the American flag for the United States Olympic team Saturday at the 1994 Winter Olympics' opening ceremonies in Lillehammer, Norway.
On Jan. 30 in Altenberg, Germany, Myler became the first American to win a World Cup luge event outside the United States. If her competition goes well, she could become the first American luger ever to win an Olympic medal.
Myler will compete in allfour rounds of the women's singles luge event, which will airTuesday and Wednesday on CBS from 7 to 9 a.m. and 8 to 11:00 p.m.
