Dartmouth to meet UW-Milwaukee

Choruses of groans greeted each commercial break as the members of the women's soccer team huddled together in front of a TV in the Boss Tennis Center, waiting for their bracket to be announced. With only 16 teams left, Dartmouth's bracket was finally shown on the screen and a team no one had really considered appeared: the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.

Huskies barely survive double overtime thriller

After a scoreless 111 minutes of play, Connecticut sophomore Jessica Gjertsen scored the lone goal of the game to lead the ninth-ranked Huskies to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Dartmouth at Chase Field yesterday afternoon. Play was all over the field, with neither Dartmouth nor UConn controlling the ball for too long.

W. Soccer grabs late win

In their first home win this season, Dartmouth's women's soccer team defeated UNH 3-2, extending their winning streak to two. The Wildcats jumped on the scoreboard first just 2:42 into the contest when freshman Chiara Best lofted a shot over the head of Julia Shields '04 for a 1-0 lead.
