Men's lax edges out Harvard in OT

Perfect. That seemed to be the word of choice used to describe the men's lacrosse team's dramatic 12-11 overtime win at Harvard on Saturday. "It was a perfect way to finish off the season," co-captain Pete Fahey '94 said. And what a season it was.

Brown tops men's lax

Ghosts from seasons past haunted the men's lacrosse team this Saturday in Providence. The 19th-ranked Big Green lost 10-9 to seventh-ranked Brown in a manner that conjured up memories from last season. Fourth-quarter comebacks by opponents resulted in tough one-goal losses for the Big Green several times last year, and it happened again this weekend. Dartmouth held a 7-5 advantage over the Bears heading into the fourth quarter, only to have Brown explode for five goals in the final 15 minutes.

Men's lax downs Cornell in OT

Dartmouth held an 11-7 lead with seven minutes left in regulation, only to have Cornell explode for four goals to force the extra period. It was a scenario all too familiar for the players who weathered last year's 3-9 season, which featured several fourth quarter collapses.
