When the Connecticut River where the Dartmouth men's crew tream trains in warmer months is covered in ice, Big Green rowers take to an indoor machine called the ergometer, or erg, to practice and test their speed.

Five Dartmouth men's hockey team players received Ivy League awards on Thursday, including forward Matthew Lindblad '14, who was named Rookie of the Year along with Cornell University freshman Andrew Calof, according to DartmouthSports.com.

Alexi Surtees / The Dartmouth The Dartmouth women's hockey team's run through the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference playoffs came to a crashing halt on Saturday, as the Big Green lost to number one seed Cornell University, 3-0, in the tournament final.
