Golf teams score encouraging results

This past weekend, the men's golf team began its spring season on an encouraging note, notching a second-place finish at the Yale Spring Opener, while the women's team continued its strong season with a fourth-place performance at the Brown Invitational. In its opening match at the Yale Spring Opener last Saturday, the Dartmouth men's golf team overpowered other Ivy foes, finishing second out of 12 teams with a team score of 591 over two rounds.





The women's tennis team opened Ivy League play with a 4-3 loss to Columbia University before earning a back-and-forth win over Cornell University.

Softball drops three of four to open new home stadium

Nathan Yeo / The Dartmouth Senior Staff The Dartmouth softball team christened the brand new Dartmouth Softball Park in style this weekend, beating the University of Pennsylvania by a score of 1-0 in the first game of a Friday doubleheader to hand the Quakers (20-13, 5-3 Ivy) their first Ivy League loss of the season.
