Golf teams score encouraging results

This past weekend, the men's golf team began its spring season on an encouraging note, notching a second-place finish at the Yale Spring Opener, while the women's team continued its strong season with a fourth-place performance at the Brown Invitational. In its opening match at the Yale Spring Opener last Saturday, the Dartmouth men's golf team overpowered other Ivy foes, finishing second out of 12 teams with a team score of 591 over two rounds.

Men's basketball loses close games

Yomalis Rosario / The Dartmouth Staff Led by an impressive performance by Jvonte Brooks '15, the Dartmouth men's basketball team battled back from a 15-point deficit to the University of Pennsylvania early in the second half on Saturday night, only to have Penn's Zack Rosen hit a fateful three-point tie-breaker in the last three seconds to end the game 58-55.

Men's basketball squanders leads

The Dartmouth men's basketball team fought valiantly against two tough Ivy League opponents this weekend but ultimately fell to both Brown University, 66-59, and Yale University, 62-52.
