Smythe helped lead the Big Green past Columbia with three rushing touchdowns in a 37-28 Homecoming victory. Smythe provided Dartmouth with its first lead as well as its final lead of he game. The California native's first TD gave the Big Green a 14-7 advantage in the second quarter, while his third score put the game out of reach in the fourth, 35-28.

Hubbard scored the Big Green's lone goal in a 1-1 double overtime tie against Columbia during Homecoming weekend. Hubbard's goal came early during the contest's 13th minute. Firing from inside the 18-yard box, Hubbard's powerful foot would find the upper left corner of the net.
