Campus Blotter: Week 8

Feb. 25, 3:06 a.m., Bissell Hall: Safety and Security officers investigated a noise complaint in a dorm room. Officers discovered that the occupants had smoked marijuana inside the room and had consumed hard alcohol. A glass pipe with marijuana residue was confiscated and turned over to the Hanover Police Department.

Feb. 26, 2:50 a.m., TDX: Safety and Security officers and Dartmouth Emergency Medical Services offered assistance to student at Theta Delta Chi in response to a Good Sam call. The student was evaluated by Dartmouth EMS and was admitted to Dick’s House.

Feb. 26, 5:28 a.m., Ripley Hall: Safety and Security officers received a complaint that a male had entered two students’ dorm rooms while they were sleeping. The male then proceeded to urinate on the floor. The male was described as being “disoriented” by occupants. Safety and Security officers responded and believe they have identified the individual, and the incident is still under investigation.

Feb. 26, 12:51 p.m., The Lodge: Safety and Security officers responded to a call from a student asking for assistance with another student. The student indicated feeling sick, and the individual then fainted, falling and hitting their head. When officers arrived, the student was said to be feeling better but still dizzy, and Safety and Security transported the individual to Dick’s House. At the request of Dick’s House, the student was transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center but eventually went back to Dick’s House.
