Field hockey recruits well, loses no offensive players to graduation

With a strong recruiting class and experience at every position, the Dartmouth field hockey team, which finished second in the Ivy League behind Princeton last season, expects to contend for the Ivy League title next fall. The offense will be especially loaded, as every player who scored even one point last year will be returning. Leading the charge on offense are two of the tri-captains, Sarah Devens '96 and Cynthia Roberts '96.

Golf team keeps NCAA hopes alive, just barely

The Dartmouth golf team returned to Hanover Saturday night clinging to hopes of an NCAA berth. The team finished fourth in the Rhode Island Invitational, overshadowing two brilliant performances by senior co-Captains Alec Dicks and Bryan Kim. Kim jumped out early and finished the first day in first place with a spectacular 72.

Women's golf takes sixth at Campbell

The women's golf team returned to Hanover with mixed emotions after its tournament this weekend at Campbell University. Playing against a field of teams from the South, the Big Green showed their lack of practice on the first day of competition. While most of the teams in the tournament have been practicing since January, the women of Hanover have been unable to get on the course much due to snow and rain and just overall cold weather. This lack of practice time led to a last place finish on the first day of the tournament.
