I don't understand why students attack other students. Maybe I never will. Do people get a satisfaction out of criticizing the Student Assembly?
What happened to the Student Life Initiative? What happened to greater student involvement in how decisions are made at this college? What happened is what always happens.
Welcome to the rest of your life. Sounds dramatic, huh? It is. You are at a milestone in your life.
There are people at Dartmouth who devote their lives to making change. They see something wrong with Dartmouth and work to make a difference.
It is time for a change. A fundamental change in how this college functions and how Dartmouth's future is determined.
Perhaps the '03s are the last chance Dartmouth has. Perhaps with the burden of being the smartest and most diverse class ever, they'll also have to be the class who cared enough to make a difference. I look at my fellow upperclassmen and, almost across the board, I see people who have given up.
Thursday night (or I should say Friday morning), I was on my way to the golf course to watch the meteor shower when I bumped into some friends.
