Continued drift away from undergraduates and the liberal arts
Student Assembly President Jim Rich '96 was elected last spring on a platform of increasing student services.
TheClass of 1999 is a very special class. In addition to being one of the most intellectual classes ever to attend the College, it is the first class in the College's history to have more women than men. As of last night, the College expected approximately six more women than men to matriculate in the Class of 1999.
The Student Assembly needs to refocus its Webster Hall campaign, which has been misguided and ineffective from its beginning in January. Saturday night's "Rally to Replace Webster Hall" was the latest example of the Assembly's lack of focus.
