Last spring, I collaborated with Dan Linsalata '07 on an op-ed opposing the constitution ("United Against the Constitution," May 31). I now wish very much I had reserved my judgment on the matter.
During their three-day meeting over Green Key Weekend, the Alumni Council -- the representative body of sorts for the whole of the alumni -- voted unanimously to endorse the new proposed Alumni Association Constitution.

The multiple responses to Sara del Nido '08's recent columns demonstrate very well the common retorts to any calls for sensitivity and communal awareness : resentment and irritation, with a dash of alternative ideas for how a society should be run.
