To the Editor: I believe Boloco has been anything but dark and deceitful ("Boloco is unhealthy for you," May 30). In fact, because of their being the opposite of that characterization, Boloco is one of the few restaurants at which I can still eat.

Presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., called on her fellow senators to fund stem cell research and said that as president she would make lifting the ban on the research "a very high priority as soon as taking office," during a town hall"style rally in Alumni Hall in the Hopkins Center Friday afternoon. At the event, which was billed as a conversation about stem cell research, Clinton both condemned the Bush administration's insistence on forbidding research it deems unethical and portrayed the issue as one that transcends partisan politics. She couched her criticism in an overall attack on what she termed Bush's misuse of science. "For the past six years, science has been under siege in Washington," she said.

/ The Dartmouth During their last year on campus, members of the Class of 2007 saw Dartmouth tackle issues ranging from racial tension to alumni governance -- debates which at times thrust the College into the national spotlight. Arriving back on campus for Fall term, students were greeted by a changed landscape, as the Tuck Mall and McLaughlin Residential Clusters and academic buildings Kemeny Hall and Haldeman Center opened in September. This year's fall rush process likewise saw a new addition.

Big Green skiers plowed through the regular season to win the NCAA team championship in Bartlett, N.H., marking the first time a Dartmouth varsity team has won a national title since 1976.
