Following Half Marathon, CHaD Posts Inspiring “Roar” Music Video

This past weekend, Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) held its annual CHaD HERO Half Marathon and Ripcord 5K. Sun., Oct. 20 saw the largest turnout for CHaD HERO ever with 3,141 participants raising over $650,000. Following these exciting events, CHaD posted a video of doctors, patients, staff and families singing and dancing to “Roar” by Katy Perry. Many Dartmouth students have posted the uplifting video to Facebook. Since it was posted on YouTube on Mon., Oct. 21 it has reached over 15,000 views and over 1,000 likes.

On the afternoon of Oct. 22, a BuzzFeed released a quick post on the video as well. Since the time the Dartbeat post was written, CHaD's video has garnered a total of nearly 70,000 views with almost 5,000 likes on YouTube.
