Tractor Falls Through Ice During Pond Maintenance
Occom pond has been closed to skaters after a tractor fell through the ice Wednesday morning. No one was injured in the incident, which occurred during preparations for the February 12th Occom Pond Party, according to an announcement by Associate Vice President of Facilities Operation and Management Frank Robert. The pond will be reopened after the tractor is removed and the ice has been deemed safe, Robert said.
