Describe your spring term in 3 words.

Gabe A. Brigham ’26: Really late nights.

Noelle Blake ’26: Sentimental, busy, so so fun.

Gretchen W. Bauman ’25: Over too soon!

Aubrey King ’27: Quick, busy, sunny.

Aditi Gupta ’27: Perpetual goggle marks.

What is the best memory you have from this term?

GAB: Giving a best man speech!

NB: It’s a tie between going to a thrift sale in Woodstock, Vt., with friends, many random trips to Chili’s when there are plenty of good restaurants in Hanover and a Mirror trip to the VINS Nature Center.

GWB: Running a marathon with my brother and seeing my parents five times along the course.

AK: One of the best memories I have from this term is spending the afternoon baking with the editors and execs for the D banquet!

AG: Swinging on the swings at Storrs Pond in a formal dress.

Did you cross anything off your Dartmouth bucket list this term? If so, what was it?

GAB: I finally hiked Mount Moosilauke after trips canceled the sunrise hike three years in a row.

GWB: Visiting the Vermontasaurus, running laps around Lake Morey and going to Burlington.

AK: Yes, I went to the Organic Farm for Brewhaha! I’ve been meaning to go there for a while but have never gotten a chance.

What are your plans for this summer? Are you planning to work or relax — or both?

GAB: Working way more than I want to be.

NB: I’m working as a content editing intern this summer — using skills from The D! Also working on my thesis and living with one of my best friends! I’m hoping I can balance relaxation and work.

GWB: I am going home to Indiana after graduation and then going on vacation with family! After that, I’m planning on swimming outside, reading and relaxing before starting my full-time job at the end of the summer.

AK: I’ll be on campus for sophomore summer! I’m taking four courses, so I’ll probably have a lot of work, but I’m also looking forward to enjoying the sun.

AG: Sophomore summer = both.

What is one thing you really wanted to do this spring but didn’t get a chance to?

GAB: I missed out on hiking Mount Washington.

NB: Hiking Mount Cardigan … or Gile … or any hiking, really.

GWB: I wanted to go to the Fairlee Drive-In Theater, but they’re closed for the season.

AK: I really wanted to go to the Farmer’s Market, but I think I’ll have plenty of chances to do that this summer.

AG: Hiking! I want to hike more this summer.

Favorite study spot this term?

GAB: Still North.

NB: Irving!

GWB: The glass booths on the third floor of Dartmouth Hall.

AK: Upstairs in Rauner!

AG: The first floor of Fairchild.

Favorite chill spot this term?

GAB: The golf course.

NB: Occom Pond and woccoms every day.

GWB: The round tables at the entrance of Foco dark side, where I ate dinner every Wednesday.

AK: The benches on the Green!

AG: The Green, when it wasn’t pouring rain.

Did you take any really interesting classes that you would recommend?

GWB: Yes! I loved CRWT 40.20: “Writing the Young Adult Novel” and THEA 10.50: “American Musical Theater History.”

AK: One class that I would recommend is Latin 10.04: “Latin Paleography” with Professor Lynn. You get the chance to look at some really awesome manuscripts in Rauner Library!

AG: ANTH 62: “Health and Disease in Evolutionary Perspective” was one of the best classes I’ve taken at Dartmouth so far!

Favorite piece you wrote this term?

GAB: The Best Blueberry Muffin in Hanover.

NB: Week 6 editor’s note!

GWB: I wrote an article about the hot air balloon festival that takes place at the Post Mills Airport! I loved being able to watch some balloons take off and interview the balloonists.

AK: I think my first editor’s note about my journal was my favorite!

AG: I’m honestly proud of every editor’s note we’ve published this term.

Seniors: what is one piece of advice you would offer to freshmen (or any Dartmouth student)?

GWB: You can do many things well, but it's impossible to do everything well. You should choose what you care most about and prioritize that.

Underclassmen: what is one thing you'd like Mirror’s seniors to know?

NB: That we’ll miss you dearly! Having you all to look up to in Mirror was the best experience. I’m grateful to have shared such a special space with you all and beyond sad to see you go.

AK: Thank you so much to our seniors for being such amazing people! I’m excited to see what you all do in the future and I'm grateful for your guidance.

AG: Mirror became such a special community because of all of you! We’ll miss you so much!
