To the Editor:
I was surprised this morning to read Stephen Smith's rather charged opinion ("Countering Campaign Charges," July 17). Now that Smith is a trustee, I expect that he will represent all of us. Why then is he engaged in a rehash of the tiresome, divisive rhetoric which has characterized the last three trustee elections? It is time for all of us to move on and work together for Dartmouth.
