Greek gender equality exists

To the Editor:

As a woman of Dartmouth, I must call Peter Gray '07 to task for his recent column ("Girls, Pong and Equality," Mar. 5).

A minimum amount of due diligence on his part would show that there are fraternities on campus where things are more equitable. Places where women can play pong, be served beverages by a sister or brother of the house. They are called coeducational fraternities, or co-ed houses for short.

As an undergrad I was honored to be a member of Alpha Theta. There are two other co-ed fraternities on campus as well, Phi Tau and Tabard.

Mr. Gray, I see you are a senior, and I assume of legal drinking age. Perhaps I can challenge you to a game of slam pong at Alpha Theta the next time I am on campus.
