To the Editor:
I am sorry to hear that Tubestock will not continue as a Dartmouth tradition ("Final town meeting drowns Tubestock," July 11). It was a very fun day for my friends and I in the summer of 1997. However, we did not consume any alcohol before or during our float down the river. The mere fact that hundreds of our classmates were on the river together was entertainment enough. I wish Tubestock could live on as a non-alcoholic (and lifeguarded) event.
