To the Editor:
Congratulations to Mr. Robinson and Professor Zywicki on their success in the recent contested alumni trustee election. These "insurgents" will now have to focus upon consensus building, persuasion and diplomacy. They will be only two of many voices on the Board of Trustees. As such, they will represent no particular constituency or interest group other than the greater good of Dartmouth College. The "insurgency," and the adversarial process that characterized the now concluded alumni trustee election, must be set aside in favor of collegial debate and, ultimately, a cohesive decision by the Trustees as a group on the significant issue affecting our alma mater.
