Your recent article on work-study opportunities in the Hopkins Center (The Dartmouth, May 20) neglected to include all of the opportunities available to interested students.
The department of Theater also hires a large work-study force. Work-study students in the department of Theater are involved in all of the facets of mounting theatrical productions, such as scenery construction, costumes, props, sound and lighting. Faculty designers and a staff of talented craftspeople closely mentor our work-study employees in an academic setting.
I hope that you will print this so that interested students will know of the work-study opportunities that our department provides in addition to the other opportunities that you already mentioned in your article about the Hop.
