To the Editor:
I can't tell you how proud I am to be a member of the same Dartmouth family as Beth Robinson ("Alumna gay rights lawyer recalls groundbreaking cases," April 21). Her strength, her courage and her vision have been an inspiration to all of us in the movement for marriage equality.
The Hanover Plain has nurtured other leaders for fairness and equality as well. Hillary Goodridge, of the "Goodridge decision" which will bring marriage equality to Massachusetts is a Dartmouth '78. When the history of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender freedom movement is written someday, Dartmouth will have a special place.
