To the Editor:
Last week, The Dartmouth published an article ("Dorm residents conserve energy," Sept. 25) on the Model Residence Hall Room, casually known as the ECO Room. A few critical participants in the process were overlooked in the article. First, the Office of Residential Life and other facets of the administration have been very helpful in planning and implementing the room. Secondly, Freya Sachs '04 has been the most actively involved ECO representative. She was the Resource Working Group Intern last Fall (2002) when ideas began to materialize, she guided the project's inception this past winter, and was the Coordinator of ECO the past Spring. Involved for over a year on the project, she too, deserves recognition for her hard work.
