The April 7 column "Wright Priorities" by Joe Asch '79 deals with our fundamental identity question, but in black and white simplistic terms.
What is the " old Dartmouth ?" Mine was all male. New co-ed Dartmouth is a big improvement. Old Dartmouth included three professional schools, but everyone understood that we could still be called a college without straining the term. The Wright-Trustees vision does not aim to destroy the undergraduate focus or our undergraduate essence.
