Safety and Security Incident Reports

01/19/03: 11:25 p.m. -- Property Damage - College Property:

A Night Security Guard reported a broken window next to a door in Reed Hall.

01/19/03: 2:55 a.m. -- Vandalism - Property Damage - College Property:

A Night Security Guard reported vandalism to the lobby telephone in Hinman Hall.

01/19/03: 12:23 a.m. -- Alcohol Policy Violation - Arrest - Inebriate:

A Safety and Security Officer observed a male, later identified as a student who appeared to be bent over and about to become ill. The student then continued to walk, and was staggering. The Safety and Security Officer spoke with the male who appeared to be intoxicated. He was transported by Safety and Security to Dick's House where he was admitted. He became disruptive there, and was then arrested by the Hanover Police.

01/18/03: 8:11 p.m. -- Personal Injury - Accidental:

A female approached a Safety and Security Officer at a hockey game at Thompson Arena. The female reported that her daughter had been hit in the face with a hockey puck during the game. The daughter had swelling to her check, and was given some ice for the injury.

01/18/03: 1:24 p.m. -- Vandalism - Property Damage:

An employee reported that the vending machine in French Hall had been vandalized.

01/17/03: 11:42 p.m. -- Vandalism:

A Safety and Security Officer observed a telephone on the floor of French. The telephone had apparently been pulled from the wall.

01/16/03: 8:37 a.m. -- Obscene Phone Call:

A student reported that he had received a strange telephone call.

01/15/03: 12:30 p.m. -- Theft - Student Property:

A student reported the theft of his bicycle from the Choates. The bicycle was reported as locked and valued at $600.00.

01/15/03: 10:48 a.m. -- Personal Injury - Self Inflicted:

The Department of Safety and Security received a request for assistance for a female who had an injured head from banging it on a desk. Safety and Security Officers arrived as well as the ambulance. The ambulance checked the female, who was identified as a visitor of another student. The female refused any medical treatment.

01/14/03: 11:47 p.m. -- Hazing:

A Safety and Security Officer observed a possible hazing violation.

01/13/03: 9:32 p.m. -- Fire - Actual:

A fire alarm activation came in for 10 North Park Street. The activation was due to some cooking that caught on fire. There was no reported damage or injuries.
