The Dartmouth

Over-zealous Coverage

To the Editor:

Although I am disgusted by the things written by the brothers of Zeta Psi fraternity, I am more disgusted that The Dartmouth is a moral vacuum weak enough to reprint such writings. Taking out the names does not make the writing any less elicit. The fact you have chosen to reprint quotes in such detail is vile and lacks moral judgment almost comparable to that of the brothers at Zeta Psi. Your use of text is blatant sensationalism reviving emotions of the Ken Starr report. Do we really need to be subjected to reading the filthy literature in order to find out about the incident? I have been awed at The Dartmouth's lacking discretion in printing information of incidents in the past months. Your reporting is little short of pure gossip and does nothing toward reporting the facts in an objective or upright manner. It's embarrassing that "America's oldest college news paper" demonstrates such an inability to report properly.
