To the Editor:
What a disgusting turn of events it is that anyone would have the nerve to set up a "fund" for the families of these alleged killers. To say it is not a "defense fund" is ludicrous, as the fund cannot be used in any other way except to aid these people in their defense with money for their "hotels, lost wages" etc.
Maybe these parents should have thought about these expenses when they were allowing their "children" to run amok all over the countryside!
What has this country come to? People paying the parents of alleged murderers to aid in getting them back on the street again!
