To the Editor:
I am writing from the University of Rhode Island. We've all heard about the terrible tragedy that happened on your campus and we are horrified by it. Our thoughts and wishes go out to all of the students and faculty. My friends and myself cannot even comprehend how something like this could happen on a college campus --we can't even imagine how life around campus could be like now. Hopefully, the investigation will be short and the media will leave soon so you can all start to grieve and begin to get back to your lives.
We just wanted you to know that we were all thinking about you.
