To the Editor:
I read the letter to the editor by Dr. Lynda Williams (Friday, February 23rd). I sympathize completely with her plight. Damage is done to many innocent people in the name of "news" and "the truth."
The imposition on the Williams family is something that could happen to any innocent individual who is in the wrong place at the wrong time. Being tried in the press with no recourse is an abuse of the freedom of the press.
