To the Editor:
I'm so afraid these boys might kill themselves, being so cornered, so afraid, so guilty. Whatever their involvement with the Zantop murder is, let's face it, the Zantops are dead. Can't we have compassion for these two boys on the run?
Can't you appeal to the Attorney General to make some kind of national media statement that will be picked up by the national media that they should not now act rashly, and that all efforts will be made to treat them fairly? You must know how scared and confused these two boys are.
Selfishly, cynically speaking, I would like to know what their motive was, and if they commit suicide, we will never know. I must tell you, from direct experience, kids faced with such dire consequences kill themselves, rather than face their parents. Contact the Attorney General. Be true reporters. Seize the moment. Save these two kids' lives. Now.
