To the Editor:
I read the opinion of Dan Galemba '03 and I want him to know I take no offense. The most easily offended people in the world are children and Ivy League professors as well as the students they infect. Unfortunately, political correctness is a virus which has spread from the campuses into many aspects of society which is what is truly offensive. I can tell you the prevalence of the virus will drop off dramatically when you leave the academic world. Students need to be able to express their thoughts without fear of others tearing them apart. Perception is not reality as many of the politically correct believe. Mr. Galemba, if you do not offend someone at least weekly than you likely would not be deserving of being a Dartmouth student.
