Common Sense

To the Editor:

I think it's really sad that in this day and age incidents such as those cited at the beginning of the article on January 24th, "Queers and Beers," still take place. I had a few lesbian sorority sisters but it was no big deal whatsoever. Why should it matter? We're friends and we're there to support each other. Just as I'm not going to be attracted to every man I see and not every man I see is going to be attracted to me, not every lesbian is going to be attracted to me and so on. Straight men especially get so up in arms about this and I really think it's positively ridiculous. Do they really think they they're so fantastic that every gay man is going to make a pass at them? I don't think so. Take a look at the percentage of women who respond positively to their passes and think about it accordingly.
