To the Editor: I applaud your timely and thorough coverage of the fire at Seton Hall. The excuses that Dartmouth College offers for failing to install sprinklers in all dormitories are unconvincing. Any "Social and Residential Life Initiative" that actually sought to improve student life would make sprinkler installation its most important and immediate goal, not a goal five years from realization because of "practicalities."
